Bar/Bat Mitzvah
Our goal is to make your Bar or Bat Mitzvah a memorable one. One where your guests walk away with smiles and great times. Dancing to songs they haven’t heard in a long time. Dancing… like they haven’t in a long time. We do this by structuring your mitzvah schedule with a lot of action and interaction.
We start off with a big bang! Getting you and your guests up on the dance floor for the Grand Entrance, Hora, and a first dance set where everyone will feel comfortable with the music selections. (oldies, disco, hip hop… something recognizable)
From there we give your guests a short rest allowing them to relax ( dancing back to there seats ). While we proceed with our formalities of a Motzi and Kiddish (if you are having this). After the blessing, we open up first course while playing background music.
The rest of the event will be staggered with dancing and formalities, getting your guests up and out of their seats to dance and participate, and then letting them relax during candle lighting, video montages, your main course and dessert.
During the meal, we monitor to make sure everyone is enjoying the musical selections, the volume of the music and the overall environment. When your young adults are finished eating, we utilize that time to either play games, (which we go over with the client when we build the event’s schedule) or we play a current dance set of music for them to enjoy while the adults finish eating.
Throughout the party we will go through various sets of music including Oldies, Funk, Motown, Disco, Swing, Pop, Dance, Hip Hop, and any other requests you have. Your guests will enjoy dancing to all of the songs they remember growing up with and continue to enjoy today.
